Hi, my name is Taylor Elkin. I am a Certified Labor Support Professional, Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, Certified Childbirth Educator, and Birth Doula. I'm a birth expert and would love to help you have an empowering & enjoyable birthing experience! M&H is serving families near Braselton, GA. I'm a mother of five beautiful children and have been involved in birth work for the last 10 years. When I'm not being a baby whisperer, I love to run, watch space documentaries, and cook for my big family! My goal for all of my clients is to birth without fear & enjoy their baby's beautiful birthing! I support you in your decisions on how YOU want to birth!
My birth philosophy
In general, birth is a completely normal process that I believe works best when left alone. Labor is a dance of hormones between you and your baby, this back and forth communication is what allows labor to progress. Your body has been perfectly designed to allow your baby to slide right out. I don't believe women should be placed on any timeline for their pregnancy or labors, or be coerced into non medically necessary interventions. I believe in your body's ability and your strength, and I will give you the space, patience, support, and reassurance you need to have the birth of your dreams.
